What are PFAS and how can it be harmful?
PFAS is a forever chemical that not only builds up in our body over time, it also contaminates our drinking water. There is evidence that PFAS can lead to adverse side effects if humans or animals, ingest it by eating or drinking out of products that use this chemical. PFAS are then absorbed and can accumulate in the body over time. As a result, the longer people are exposed to PFAS from different sources, the level of PFAS in their bodies may increase to the point where they suffer from long term effects. We at BB17 do not use any of these added chemicals to our products. All items are PFAS and Flourine Free.

In the Los Angeles area alone, there are 10 metric tons of plastic items that are carried into the ocean every single day.

We are here to provide affordable compostable products to replace traditional plastic material items including tablewares, trash bags, straws, food bags.
By making your disposable tableware and packaging out of plants, you are able to throw it away with the left-over food and it can be composted to produce top quality soil and fertilizer. Which in time is ready to grow the next generation of plants. We now have solutions such as tableware and bags made from sugar cane fiber (bagasse) and compostable plastics made from corn starch.
Products can compost within 180 days in an industrial compost facility, leaving no toxicity, no harmful chemicals – but in turn is creating nutritious and organic soils which cycles back to benefit mother nature.
